St. Raymond High School for Boys Alumni Association Library Welcome to the St Raymond High School for Boys Alumni Library here at St. Raymond. Our high school has the best library in the Archdiocese of New York as we meet the needs of the 21st Century. The library was named after all the alumni who have walked the hallways and graduated to pursue their goals in the future. The library enhanced their educational growth by helping to provide the needed resources for all academic areas of study. The library is the focal point in the school where students are given the chance to study independently or work on projects collectively. An atmosphere is provided to relax as well. The Alumni Library is catalogued through the DESTINY PROGRAM. This program is a joint adventure to link the St Raymond schools. We can share whatever is in each of our libraries with the other schools. We are connected to the NYPL (New York Public Library) which gives our students a vast advantage of other resources like databases and research materials that are not found in our library. College resources can be found this way as well. Visit their website for more resources and details. Our library can be accessed on the internet 24 hours a day 7 days a week. Our library is a 21st Century Library and changing all the time to keep up with the modern library in technology. The Alumni library has 7,400 books of which fiction, non-fiction, bibliographies, magazines, e books, dvd’s, cd’s and audio books. Students may use one of the 16 desktop computers.
